The Retreat New Forest is an idyllic sanctuary where you can renew and reinvigorate your mind and body. Each of the fifteen rooms is individually adorned, spacious, and furnished with an en-suite bathroom, offering a serene setting for your stay.

The Retreat is situated on vast, picturesque grounds that were once the enchanting playground of the real Alice in Wonderland. Take a stroll through the age-old beech forests, attend a class or indulge in holistic therapy to rejuvenate yourself. Alternatively, spend a peaceful day lounging on the tranquil lawns beneath the ancient oaks.

The Retreat New Forest offers a multitude of classes, workshops, retreats, treatments, and therapies, in addition to an independent café. There is an abundance of opportunities for you to lose yourself in some much-needed ‘me’ time. It is the perfect escape from the hectic pace of everyday life, nestled in the stunning New Forest.

Camping on the Hinton Admiral Estate is an unforgettable experience for anyone who loves the outdoors. The Estate is set right on the edge of the New Forest National Park which covers over 200 square miles of stunning forest, heathland, and grassland, and boasts some of the most picturesque landscapes in the country, making it a popular destination for camping enthusiasts.

There are several campsites located throughout the Hinton Admiral Estate, offering a range of accommodation options from basic pitches for tents to luxurious glamping experiences. Camping on the Hinton Admiral Estate is a great way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in nature. Whether you want to go for a leisurely walk or bike ride, spot some wildlife, or simply relax around a campfire, the Estate has something to offer everyone.

There are plenty of local attractions worth exploring. Hinton Admiral Events, situated within the Hinton Admiral Estate on the edge of the New Forest, organise various outdoor events such as the New Forest Food Festival, horse and dog shows, live music, and much more. In addition, Mudeford Quay is just a short drive away and provides endless opportunities for water sports, wild swimming, or playing in the surf. Highcliffe Beach and Barton-on-Sea Beach are conveniently located and offer options for a leisurely walk, a refreshing swim, or a nap on the shore.

Then head inland for a tour of our lovely local market town of Christchurch with its historic Priory, castle and wetlands. Or visit historic Highcliffe Castle with its dizzying zig-zag path down to some of the best beaches in England. Good local shops and cafés offer a handy and delicious stop-off before returning to the comfort of your rural idyll on the Hinton Admiral Estate…
